EVRE Launches New Hyderabad EV Charger Manufacturing Unit

EVRE, an EV charging infrastructure company has opened a new domestic charger manufacturing unit at the Patancheru Industrial Development Area in Hyderabad. The facility will begin by producing up to 5000 chargers per month and plans to double the output to 10000 units by 2026, when the expansion is expected to be complete. This new plant will enable the company to manufacture the 20,000 chargers already on order.

The plant will produce a variety of charging solutions ranging from 3.3 kW AC units suitable for residential use to 360 kW DC chargers for commercial applications. The facility’s automated testing benches for PCBs, components and finished chargers will speed up testing, reduce errors and generate detailed quality reports for each unit to meet production standards. The company aims to address the growing demand for EV infrastructure by supplying chargers for residential and commercial applications. The new unit is expected to create more than 50 local jobs and contribute to regional economic growth.

According to Krishna K Jasti, Founder and CEO of EVRE, the goal is to bring a premium charging experience to users and reduce reliance on public chargers. He highlighted that the manufacturing of chargers with up to 70% localization supports government initiatives such as Make in India. The chargers will feature proprietary technology to achieve this localization level. He also noted that EVRE will target large residential complexes that currently lack dedicated charging infrastructure, delivering premium solutions at the doorstep of each user and minimizing downtime.
